Eastside Pathways and its partners are working on Phase 2 of the plan.

After a summer spent developing and agreeing upon six organizational goals, Eastside Pathways and its partners entered “Phase 2.”  Over the next three months, Eastside Pathways’ partners and other interested volunteers will further define the organization’s goals, identify indicators that will measure progress toward these goals, and link metrics to the indicators.

Phase 2 was launched on October 28.  Six work groups were formed.  Each work group has responsibility for defining, identifying indicators, and linking metrics for the six Eastside Pathways goals:

  • Goal 1:  Every child has a healthy start.
  • Goal 2:  Parents and significant adults are supported in their efforts to help their child succeed.
  • Goal 3:  Every child attains optimal physical and mental health and safety.
  • Goal 4:  Every child develops social and emotional skills for life effectiveness.
  • Goal 5:  Every child is prepared for academic and work success.
  • Goal 6:  The community plays an active role in the success of Bellevue’s children.
