DESCRIPTION:Join us for the LGBTQIA+ Affinity Space\, held on the first Wednesday of every month from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. This virtual meeting offers a safe and anonymous space for individuals who identify as lesbian\, gay\, bisexual\, transgender\, queer\, intersex\, asexual\, and any additional queer identities. \nThis space will focus is on fostering safety\, connection\, and shared growth. Activities may include: \n\nConfidential Community Discussions – A space to share experiences\, navigate challenges\, and celebrate wins in a supportive and judgment-free environment.\nExploring Intersectionality – Recognizing and discussing how different identities (race\, gender\, class\, ability\, etc.) impact professional and personal experiences.\nNavigating Workplace Culture – Conversations on advocacy\, leadership\, and strategies for fostering inclusivity in professional settings.\nWell-being & Mental Health Support – Mindfulness practices\, guided discussions\, and resource-sharing to manage stress and promote holistic wellness.\nMutual Aid & Community Building – Strengthening professional networks\, offering peer mentorship\, and exchanging opportunities for career and personal development.\nCreative & Reflective Expression – Journaling\, storytelling\, or other expressive practices to process experiences in a safe and validating space.\nCollective Action & Advocacy – Exploring ways to engage in LGBTQIA+ workplace equity\, policy changes\, and meaningful systemic impact.\n\nThis space is confidential\, inclusive\, and affirming—designed to uplift and empower queer professionals while honoring lived experiences. \nIf you are interested in joining\, please reach out to Sam@eastsidepathways.org.
