DESCRIPTION:2025–2026 Strategic Planning Session 2: Black-Serving & Black-Identifying LeadershipDate & Time: Wednesday\, October 1\, 2025 from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM \nLocation: Empowering Connection (349 NW 89th Street\, Seattle\, WA) \nEvent Description:This in-person session is an intentional space to shape how we\, as Black and African-descended people\, collaborate during this era of underground movement building. The session is focused on strategizing for the 2025–2026 school year with Black-identifying and Black-serving leadership. Together\, we’ll build relationships\, define shared culture\, and align around emergent needs and possibilities. \nCore outcomes of this session include naming Eldership and understanding the Landscape we’re navigating. \nWho should attend?Black-identifying and Black-serving leadership across East King County.*Invitation only\, Tickets limited* \nFood:Refreshments will be provided. \nParking Instructions: \n\nPlenty of street parking is available.\nIf parking on 6th Ave\, look for a driveway/lane halfway down the block. Walk up the lane past the tiny house (on the left) and bright green car. A passageway with metal stairs leads directly to the workshop entrance.\nIf parking on 89th Street\, take the side path to the wooden gate.
