Event Description:
The Parent–Caregiver Council is a powerful new initiative led by Eastside Pathways, designed to center and uplift the voices of parents and caregivers across East King County. This space invites families to serve as partners, consultants, and advocates, co-creating solutions and influencing decisions that impact children, youth, and young adults—especially those furthest from justice.
Rooted in the lived wisdom, cultural values, and real-time experiences of families, the Council works to foster trust and collaboration between families and systems to improve outcomes and reduce harm.
Through the Council, we aim to:
• Co-design community-driven solutions
• Elevate cultural values and lived experience to create lasting change
• Foster trust between families and systems
• Support students and families in culturally affirming and equitable ways
Who should attend?:
• PTSA Groups (including affinity groups and school boards)
• Parent and Caregiver Advocates
• Community Leaders and Organizations
• Parent and Caregiver Support Groups
• Partners working with families

Free parking is available in the lot directly behind the building and St. Andrews Church. The Collaboration Room is Suite 216, facing 148th Ave. SE

A room will be available for children to hang out during the meeting
