Collaborative Action Network
High School & Beyond
Outcome Area: High School Graduation & Post-Secondary Pathways
Overview:
The High School & Beyond Collaborative Action Network(CAN) is focused on supporting youth and young adults in successfully navigating their high school experiences and transitioning into meaningful post-secondary pathways—whether that’s college, career, or another chosen future.
What Does This Collaborative Action Network (CAN) Do?
-
Gathers educators, employers, community leaders, and youth advocates to drive equitable support for students.
-
Identifies and addresses gaps in guidance, resources, and access to post-secondary planning.
-
Engages in continuous learning, strategy design, and networked action across institutions.
-
Builds stronger systems that affirm youth identity, aspirations, and belonging.
How Will This CAN Improve Outcomes?
This CAN strengthens alignment between education, workforce, and community support systems. The collective work helps more students graduate high school prepared and excited for their next step—especially those traditionally underserved by existing systems.
