Join us for the Eastside Pathways Policy & Advocacy Task Force, a dedicated effort to amplify and empower Eastside Pathways partners and the East King County community in shaping impactful policy and advocacy efforts.

Who can join? Anyone interested in Policy!

Task Force Goals:

• Identifying key stakeholders within and beyond Eastside Pathways Partnership with the will, experience and/or, connections to move the work as necessary.
• Using data to determine what the community sees as the most important areas of concern.
• Understand the policy level (municipal, county, state, federal) and sectors/issues where Eastside Pathways should invest time in (for now).
• Setting a common policy agenda for the Partnership that embodies some or all the current outcome areas (racial equity, mental health and wellbeing, early learning, high school graduation, post-secondary success, employment).
• Creating decision rules to determine what policies are most important.
• Understanding and addressing the gap between policy passage and policy implementation.

This session will set the foundation for a collaborative and strategic approach to advocacy. We invite all partners interested in shaping policy efforts that drive systemic change.
