Affinity Spaces
An affinity space is an opportunity to set aside time during the workday and cross collaborate with other self-identifying individuals. You are empowered to select which group(s) encompass your identities and encouraged to build relationships with fellow community members. This space will be facilitated by qualified staff, partners, or community members, who share the same identities.
People of Color Affinity
People of Color (POC) Affinity space focuses on unpacking lived experience and collective healing to the Partnership. The participants in this space support one another in shaping a culture that integrates and welcomes norms beyond the dominant cultural norms. This space connects and supports leaders who identify as Black, African, Native American/Indigenous, Hispanic/Latine/Afro-Latinx, Biracial/Multiracial, Caribbean, Asian and Pacific Islander, South and Southeast Asian.

White Affinity
The White Affinity space is here to provide those who identify as White to learn, challenge, support, and ask questions of themselves and of each other, related to their own racial equity journey. Whether that be in their person, the role they take up either as an individual or part of an organization, or within a broader system within East King County.
LGBTQIA+ Affinity(paused)
The LGBTQIA+ Affinity Space is a growing, responsive initiative shaped by the voices and needs of those who participate. This space is open to anyone within the LGBTQIA+ umbrella. Whether you’re looking for community, a space to reflect, or simply a safe environment to show up as your full self, you are welcome here.
