Affinity Spaces

An affinity space is an opportunity to set aside time during the workday and cross collaborate with other self-identifying individuals. You are empowered to select which group(s) encompass your identities and encouraged to build relationships with fellow community members. This space will be facilitated by qualified staff, partners, or community members, who share the same identities.

People of Color Affinity

People of Color (POC) Affinity space focuses on unpacking lived experience and collective healing to the Partnership. The participants in this space support one another in shaping a culture that integrates and welcomes norms beyond the dominant cultural norms. POC Affinity is a liberating space to connect and support leaders who identify as Black, African, Native American/Indigenous, Hispanic/Latine/Afro-Latinx, Biracial/Multiracial, Caribbean, Asian and Pacific Islander, South and Southeast Asian.

Participation is Anonymous

White Affinity

The White Affinity space is here to provide those who identify as White to learn, challenge, support, and ask questions of themselves and of each other, related to their own racial equity journey. Whether that be in their person, the role they take up either as an individual or part of an organization, or within a broader system within East King County.

LGBTQIA+ Affinity

The LGBTQIA+ Affinity space brings together those who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer, questioning, intersex, asexual and all additional queer identities. Newly inspired by the queer diversity of our Eastside Pathways team. Let us come together as professionals who identify as LGBTQIA+ within East King County. Our experiences are unique and valuable to the youth and communities we serve.
