White Affinity Space
Purpose: To provide a space for those who identify as White to learn, challenge, support, and ask questions of themselves and of each other, related to their own racial equity journey, whether that be in their person, the role they take up either as an individual or part of an organization, or within a broader system (example: neighborhood, school district, etc.).
The White Affinity Space was convened for one year, July 2021 – June 2022, as designed. It was co-facilitated by Lauri Hennessey, CEO, League of Education Voters, and Stephanie Cherrington, former Executive Director, Eastside Pathways Backbone. Participants met once, each month.
This CAN is currently inactive and will be restarted in early 2024.
If you are interested in helping to relaunch this space please reach out to Eastside Pathways Board members Cathy Habib or Tom Brewer.
