It is my great pleasure to announce that the newest community scorecard for Eastside Pathways is available!
On our website, you’ll find both the full report—chock-full of information and clocking in at 46 pages—as well as a four-page summary for readers in a hurry.
We publish a scorecard in the spirit of transparency and being a data-driven partnership. The report includes data up through the 2013-14 school year and provides a snapshot of our progress on core indicators.
It also shares broader information about the partnership, including key changes in the previous year, a new and easy-to-read work chart for the partnership, and a partner participation grid describing where organizations have been involved with collective work.
One of the bright spots in the scorecard is the increase in third grade reading proficiency, from 83 percent in 2012 to almost 88 percent in 2014. Other indicators fluctuated or declined. I highly recommend scanning the full report to understand the current landscape for kids in Bellevue.
We’ve already heard from several partners with ideas for next year’s scorecard. Of course, the backbone has a few suggestions as well!
