The Board of Directors of Eastside Pathways extends heartfelt gratitude to executive director Kalika Curry, for her exceptional leadership and the profound impact EP has had on our community throughout 2025. In a year marked by complexity and change, Kalika led the organization to keep Eastside Pathways rooted in its mission: advancing equity and improving cradle-to-career outcomes for every child and young person on the Eastside.

Under her stewardship, Eastside Pathways has continued to serve as a trusted convener, bringing together school districts, community-based organizations, local government, and families to align around shared goals for children and youth. Kalika supported her team through a challenging 2025 as EP put together programs to meet ever changing challenges and guided the systems change reflected in the 2025 Community Report. Kalika and staff deepened the collective impact practice of shared data, shared accountability, and shared power with community.  This evolution is a direct result of her clarity of vision and insistence that the voices of those most affected by inequitable systems guide the work.

The Board is especially grateful for the way Eastside Pathways staff have nurtured a culture that centers racial equity, belonging, and authentic relationships. As Executive Director, Kalika has modeled what it means to lead with humility and courage, facilitating difficult cross-sector conversations while lifting up collective impact and youth leadership. This strengthened trust in Eastside Pathways as a backbone organization that listens, adapts, and stands firmly with Community.

Heading into 2026, building on more than a decade of community reports and partnership milestones, EP is helping the partnership refine its focus, deepen its impact, and communicate its story with honesty and innovation. The 2025 report stands as a testament to the persistence of partners, the resilience of families, and Eastside Pathways’ ability to draw people together around a shared commitment to our children.

The Board of Directors thank Kalika for her unwavering dedication, strategic and compassionate leadership, and her belief that all children can learn when roadblocks to success are removed and opportunity is equitable.  We are honored to serve Eastside Pathways as it moves into its next decade of collective impact.
