Announcing the 2025 Bill Henningsgaard Award Recipient
Eastside Pathways is proud to announce the 2025 recipient of the Bill Henningsgaard Community Impact Award, an annual recognition honoring an Eastside Pathways partner organization that demonstrates exceptional commitment to advancing outcomes for children and youth in our community.
Clear data from King County shows that LGBTQIA+ youth—especially those who are questioning or transgender—experience some of the highest behavioral health needs, facing disproportionate mental health challenges and barriers to culturally responsive care. [washingtonea.org], [leg.wa.gov]
Because Pride Across the Bridge has demonstrated exceptional commitment to supporting and affirming these young people, we are proud to present them with the 2025 Bill H Award to continue advancing the wellbeing of LGBTQIA+ youth in our region.

We extend our warmest congratulations to Pride Across the Bridge, selected as the 2025 award recipient for their inspiring efforts to support and affirm LGBTQIA+ youth in our region. Their programming provides belonging, safety, and advocacy—meeting young people where they are and centering the needs of those furthest from justice.
In recognition of their remarkable work, Pride Across the Bridge will receive a $10,000 award to further invest in their impact and continue building critical supports for youth and families.
