What is Know Your Number?
Know Your Number is a movement begun by StriveTogether (Eastside Pathway’s parent organization). This movement identifies the contributing impact of all 70+ place-based organizations across the country on their way to putting 4 million more young people on a path to economic mobility by 2030. The number is calculated as the increase in the number of students meeting academic benchmarks each year:
-
- Kindergarten Readiness
- 3rd Grade Reading proficiency
- 8th Grade Math proficiency
- High School Graduation
- Postsecondary Enrollment
- Postsecondary Completion
- Employment
Economic mobility is defined broadly as “achieving a living wage:.
