Welcoming New Partners

Feb 28, 2023 | News, News 2023, Partner Spotlight

We welcome new partners to the table and their commitment to collective impact and our shared vision of ensuring children, youth, and young adults in East King County are thriving, from cradle to career.

Lars Myren, Executive Director

Columbia Choirs of Metropolitan Seattle

We know that arts have a role to play in the cognitive development, social connectedness, and mental health of children and youth. We want to be a part of a greater conversation in our community about how we ensure that all children thrive, and we viewed Eastside Pathways and the Partners as important collaborators in this work.

Being a Partner means that we get to work side-by-side with other important organizations in our community to improve outcomes for the next generation.

Laurren Chase, Director of Diversity

We joined the Eastside Pathways Partnership because we believe that for antiracist and antibias work to be most effective, it is crucial to communicate across organizations and constituencies.

We are most excited to be included in the CANs that work towards healing racial trauma and creating necessary changes to correct all forms of racism.

Jolynn Kenney, Executive Director

MENTOR Washington

MENTOR Washington works with youth mentoring and youth development programs across the state, including Eastside organizations. We are positioned to work at a systems level and utilize our existing partnerships, including with the state government, to support a better experience for young people and families.

Being an Eastside Pathways Partner means a multi-directional approach rooted in thoughtful, collaborative action. I had been involved with Eastside Pathways, earlier, when working at a different organization and found the collaborative work effective and beneficial.
