Wisdom Series 2026 | Season 5
The annual Eastside Pathways Wisdom Series returns in 2026 with a powerful lineup of learning experiences designed to spark conversation, deepen community connection, and elevate shared understanding across the Eastside.
This year’s series launches with Under Our Skin, the acclaimed Seattle Times project exploring how we talk about race through the voices of local community members. The interactive film experience invites viewers to pause, reflect, and engage with a range of perspectives on identity, language, and belonging.
We are grateful to the City of Kirkland and Overlake Park Presbyterian Church for sponsoring the 2026 Wisdom Series and helping make these community learning opportunities accessible to all.
Throughout the year, attendees can look forward to events in February, March, May, June, August, and September, each focused on expanding insight, building empathy, and strengthening our collective commitment to youth and family well‑being.
Stay tuned for event details, speakers, and registration information as each session approaches. We look forward to learning alongside you in 2026.
In 2021, after adopting the Eastside Pathways Equity Pledge, in an effort to mobilize the commitment to “reduce harm and increase equity” we explored the learning culture (pedagogy) in Eastside Pathways.
We confronted the intersectional need to be affirmed in the goodness of who we are as diverse people and the desire to learn in a way that affirms that diversity. This resulted in the launch of the Wisdom Series – a mixed media program that centers authors, creatives, and thought leaders of color to learn and unlearn about different concepts.
