Eastside Pathways is thrilled to announce that we are accepting proposals from partner organizations for the 2020 Bill Henningsgaard Fund for Children Grant from January 6 through February 28, 2020. Read grant guidelines.
The purpose of the Bill Henningsgaard Fund for Children Grant is to assist in bettering the lives of and creating opportunities for children of all ages through leveraged programs in the Lake Washington and Bellevue School District service areas. The focus for support in 2020 is Mental Health & Social Emotional Well-being among children and youth on the Eastside. Studies show that 20% of young people experience mental health challenges and the vast majority of those young people are not connected to services required to address these challenges.
The 2020 Bill Henningsgaard Fund for Children Grant is interested in how organizations are working differently within their own organizations and collaboratively with other organizations to more effectively and efficiently address the mental health challenges and social/emotional well-being of children and youth on the Eastside.
The expected award amount is $5,000 and will be announced on March 31, 2020.
