Eastside Pathways is proud to announce the continuation of the Bill Henningsgaard Fund for Children (or Bill H. Fund), an initiative that recognizes and celebrates organizations within our partnership that are making a meaningful impact in East King County. This year, the Leadership Council has taken on the role of awarding this $10,000 grant, a responsibility previously held by the Eastside Pathways Board.

Through this fund, we aim to transform the philanthropic landscape by centering the priorities, visions, and initiatives of community organizations and programs that serve our youth, particularly those historically marginalized or excluded. The grant offers unrestricted funding, empowering leaders and organizations to advance their missions in ways they determine best.

A: Please reach out to angela@eastsidepathways.org

Q: I was able to apply in the past, how can I apply now?

A: The Leadership Council is currently reassessing the application process for the Bill H Fund to ensure it is both low-barrier and equitable. Recognizing that applying for funding often comes with additional costs, time demands, anxiety, and competitive pressures, the Council aims to reimagine the process. The goal is to eliminate these challenges and instead create an approach that uplifts and celebrates the incredible work being done in our community.
