We are thrilled to announce that the 2018 Bill Henningsgaard Fund for Children recipient is the Boys & Girls Club of Bellevue  for their BE GREAT: Graduate (BGG) program.

BE GREAT: Graduate (BGG) is a formal collaboration between Bellevue School District, The Gates Foundation, King County Housing Authority and Boys & Girls Clubs of Bellevue designed to help youth in grades 6-12 be more successful in school. With one-on-one mentoring, tutors, and academic planning, the program helps to identify and break down barriers for youth struggling in school and ensure each individual gets what they need to achieve academic success and graduate on time.

I am excited that the Boys & Girls Club of Bellevue’s (BGCB) BE GREAT: Graduate program has been awarded this year’s grant from the Bill Henningsgaard Fund. The program has many different elements that support youth in their exploration and identification of career pathways, this year’s grant focus. BGCB has long been a partner of Eastside Pathways and in true collective impact fashion works to mobilize and engage other organizations to work together to support kids which is the purpose of the Bill Henningsgaard Fund.” Susan Sullivan, Co-founder and Past Board Chair of Eastside Pathways.

Congratulations to the Boys & Girls Club of Bellevue!
