This year marks an extraordinary milestone—15 years of collective impact in service to children and families across our region. What began as a shared vision has grown into a powerful network of partners working together to ensure every child has the opportunity to thrive.
As we enter this milestone year, we’ve already had an incredible start to our celebration—one that reflects both the strength of our partnerships and the energy of what’s possible when we move forward together.
A Powerful Kickoff to a Year of Celebration
We began the year with a meaningful and inspiring private EP Champions Gathering in March, bringing together dedicated champions who continue to drive our mission forward. In May, we expanded that energy through three Impact Showcase events, highlighting the real, measurable difference our collaborative work is making across communities.
These early moments set the tone for a year rooted in connection, shared learning, and collective commitment.
A Milestone Event: Our First Fundraiser
Our 15th anniversary celebration—also our first official fundraiser—was a defining moment in this journey.
Together, we:
- Surpassed our ticket sales goal
- Raised an incredible $86,450
- Secured over $19,000 in contributions on the day of the event
We were honored to welcome elected officials from Kirkland, Redmond and Bellevue, along with strong representation from King County, including Public Health leadership—a clear signal of the importance and alignment of this work across sectors.
Just as importantly, we grew our network by welcoming new donors and partners, strengthening the community that makes this impact possible.
The Power—and Urgency—of Staying Connected
As we celebrate these successes, we are also reminded of something critical:
When resources are strained and demands grow, there is a strong pull to retreat into silos.
But our impact depends on resisting that pull.
